The Winter Solstice is a magical time when we can celebrate the long hours of darkness and the silence before the rebirth of the sun in Spring. 
In yoga, we celebrate this change of season with a 108 practice. The number 108 is a representation of spiritual completion. It is viewed as a number of wholeness and used in meditation and prayer throughout many cultures.
 
At Lifted's Winter Mala 108 we will be celebrating like yogis with a powerful 108 Sun Salutations practice.
What to expect at this event:
- An intention setting ceremony to help us honor and manifest our deepest wishes for the Autumn season.
- A 108 Sun Salutation led by the Yoga Guides of Lifted Lotus Yoga. Why 108 Sun Salutations? Sun Salutations are a dynamic sequence of postures meant to create strength, heat and awareness, yogis use this sequence to build focus and release the impurities of the past through movement induced sweat as well as to welcome the new season. 
- A guided meditation created to help you let go of Autumn and welcome Winter.

Planning to attend?? Bring a water bottle, yoga mat and any props you may want to use. We can’t wait to welcome in the new season through contemplation, breath and movement with all of you!
