Let's celebrate the Autumn Equinox with bold intentions, sealed with full breaths and healing sounds!
Autumn equinox is a magical time when the day and night find balance and are of equal length. In the Northern hemisphere, it marks the first day of Autumn and the time to begin harvesting all the fruits that Summer brought us. It’s a perfect day to reconnect with life’s divine plan and to feel a deep connection to Self, Source and the natural world. Reflecting on your journey and honoring your intentions is a wonderful way to commemorate the Autumn Equinox.
In yoga, the number 108 is a representation of spiritual completion. It is viewed as a number of the wholeness and used in meditation and prayer throughout many cultures. This number also connects the Sun, Moon, and Earth: The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters.
At our Autumn Mala 108 we want to offer you a way of setting intentions for the new Autumn season and honoring your highest Self through a powerful 108 Mala practice.
What to expect at this event:
- A gifted Mala necklace for you to keep and cherish
- An intention setting ceremony to help us honor and manifest our deepest wishes for the Autumn season.
- We'll find movement to prepare us and sustain us through our meditation, mixed with a guided 108 Sama Vritti pranayama practice to help you seal in your intention. Sama Vritti pranayama translates to equal fluctuation of breath or box breath.️
- A guided meditation created to help you let go of Summer and welcome in Autumn All to the sounds of the crystal singing bowls creating the perfect frequency.
