HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!! This year we will be having our Celebration on the 4th!!!
🍔 ❗️ Best Burger Food Truck will be here from 3-6PM!! Cash and cards accepted. Menu will be posted closer to the day!
**Please feel free to bring side dishes/snacks for before and after the food truck. Just with our experience from last year, we know people were still hungry into the later hours.**
We will have a finale firework show at dark, how big it is will depend on DONATIONS this year, so if anyone would like to donate (spread the word that donations are needed) we'd be grateful.
Donation Deadline : June 20th**
All the fine folks running the party are listed as hosts, please see them if you have a donation OR you can Venmo @kennardcelebrations. Checks and cash can be dropped off at the Dew Drop or mailed to Heather Larson at PO Box 22, Kennard, NE 68034!
We will be having water balloons, egg toss, candy guessing game ( two for 12 and under and two for 13 to 17). We will attempt the waterslide as well. Bug spray, sun screen, towels and chairs would be advised as well.
Will not be providing any smaller fireworks, so please feel free to bring those if you like **(Please have the kiddos light the smaller ones at the basketball court in the park so they are not in the streets or driveways)**.
NO BOTTLE ROCKET WARS (too many kiddos running around)***
We will have the shot ski again so please feel free to bring a bottle of liquor.
PLEASE BRING BEVERAGES FOR YOU AND YOUR KIDS ( NO COOLER HOPPING PLEASE) 🙂.
This year will be our 8th Annual (even though we skipped a year) Horse Shoe Tournament. $10 per person/$20 per team. Sign in's will start at 12pm and the 1st games will start at 12:30pm. To keep the games moving faster, there will be a ten minute limit between your next scheduled game. ****please bring your patience with our volunteers that are helping with games and brackets.. . they always do their best!
***If you know you will be playing, pls post who you will be playing with or if you are looking for a partner. It helps gives us a bit of an idea of how many teams we will have😊***
