- **Event Description**: Join us at Kenilworth RFC for one of the most meaningful days in our club calendar – the Services Pre-Match Lunch, held in support of the Royal British Legion and in honour of those who serve.



This special day brings together servicemen and women, veterans, and blue light staff – including the NHS, police, fire service, carers, and community responders – to recognise their dedication and sacrifice.



As well as a two course lunch, a raffle, and auction, the event will feature the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant. Club sponsors and local businesses including Frederick Cooper Birmingham, BOSS UK, Andy’s business, and Sable Leigh Consultancy will formally commit to supporting the Armed Forces community. The signing will be attended by Lt Col Richard Pelan and representatives from the West Midland Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, marking a proud milestone in our club’s journey.



At 2.15pm, the lunch will empty onto the touchline to observe a two minute silence, with players lined up on the pitch and our community standing together. Then it is time for grassroots rugby as the Men’s 1XV take on Old Halesonians.



This is more than a lunch. It is a celebration of courage, community, and connection. It is what makes Kenilworth RFC more than the game.
