Women in Conservation Practical Work Party

You don’t need any experience, just the passion to learn and pick up a pair of bowsaw and loppers. Our female ranger team will be here to guide, teach and work alongside you.

This will be a safe and unintimidating space, where you can be with like-minded people who are also interested in nature and our local environment. You'll learn about coppicing, and we'll have a fire going to rid of any unwanted brash and to keep us warm!

This is a great opportunity to gain experience for those looking to enter into the conservation sector, and for those who just want to spend a day in the woods.

In the afternoon, for those who would like to stay, we’ll go for a small walk around the site and talk about the wildlife and ecology of Sizergh.
