MONTHLY PAINT NIGHTS for ADULTS in KEMPTVILLE, ON!

Join Rose, of the Dreaming Heart Art Studio, on the first Wednesday of each month at the lovely Boathouse Cafe in Kemptville, ON (Burritts Rapids) for a creative evening of BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, expressive painting!
March's canvas features "INNER GODDESS" and is for Ladies only!
With goddess imagery, quotes, and poetry to inspire us, we'll each paint our own one-of-a-kind Inner Goddess... that divine feminine energy within us that is rooted in love, compassion, nurturing, feminine creativity, and earthy wisdom.
Rose will provide the basic (erasable/customizable)outline of the female face on a large 16" x 20" stretched canvas and will gently guide you as you use pencil to sketch your goddess's facial features in a stylized way (no prior drawing experience needed!!).
Rose will then guide you in establishing your painted base coat and will offer up tips on how to start building layers of colour and preliminary pattern.
Then, we'll turn inward, get a little introspective, relax, listen to music, and connect with fellow women, as we each continue painting our own one-of-a-kind Inner Goddess using acrylic paint.
We won't worry about creating realistic faces, but instead, will paint from emotion. We'll create primal and instinctive pattern using basic lines, shapes, and fun stencils! We'll choose colours we feel drawn to. And we'll add meaningful symbolism that is personal and empowering.
Inspiration images will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own images that you feel drawn to and that you feel will aid you in your creative process.
*This is not a step-by-step Paint Night. This is a gently-guided meets self-led , intuitive Paint Night!
$49 + HST per participant

*Ticket fee is for the Paint Night activity only. Venue purchases like food and beverages are sold separately. Drinks, snacks, desserts, and a couple of light meal options will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
*If you would like to enjoy a meal before painting, please call the Boathouse Cafe at (343) 306-0383 to reserve a table for as early as 5:15 p.m. Please let them know you are attending the Paint Night.
*All art materials are included, except for aprons. Please wear art-friendly clothes!
*Instruction is adult-focused. Ladies 15+ yrs. are welcome to attend with an adult.
