Brookside Gardens has transformed into a magical winter wonderland for Garden of Lights. Walk through the outdoor twinkling lights and glimmering displays that dot the paths and flowerbeds throughout 50 acres in Wheaton. More than one million dazzling and colorful LED lights are handcrafted into original works depicting animals, flowers, and other natural elements.
Montgomery Parks' and Brookside Gardens' winter-season tradition runs from Friday, November 21, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026. It is open daily, 5pm - 9:30pm. It will be closed Nov. 24-27, Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.
Tickets much be purchased online in advance. Walk-up tickets are NOT available. Everyone over the age of 5 is required to have a ticket.

Sunday - Thursday: $13.99 (inlcudes $1.99 service fee)
Friday & Saturday: $16.99 (includes $1.99 service fee)
Ages 5 & under: Free (no ticket required)
The primary entrance for Garden of Lights is located at Brookside Gardens' main entrance: 1800 Glenallan Ave., Wheaton, MD 20902. Please note, this year access from Wheaton Regional Park directly into Brookside Gardens is NOT permitted. Access for pedestrians and cyclists is available at Brookside Gardens' main entrance at 1800 Glenallan Ave.
Don't forget- the Brookside Gardens' Gift Shop will be open during Garden of Lights and is the perfect place to find inspired gift items, or pick up that scarf you forgot to bring!
Your tickets are for specific arrival times: 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm or 8:30pm. You must arrive at your specific scheduled time to redeem your tickets. No entry after 9pm, show closes at 9:30pm.
