This is our last Locals4Locals event for December at Lyndall's Sports Stop in downtown Kelseyville, be there or be square! KBA will foot a handful of appetizers to get the ball rolling! And then we all get a drink, an appetizer, or a meal, and support a business that has been on Main Street for 17 years!
Here's a message and a little history from owner, Mike Lyndall:
From all of us at Lyndall’s Sports Stop Grill, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season.
Lyndall’s Sports Stop Grill is incredibly proud of the Kelseyville Business Association and excited about the direction it’s headed. We want to thank the previous board for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to our community.
As we celebrate 17 wonderful years of serving Kelseyville and Lake County, we feel truly fortunate to be part of such a special place. My roots here run deep. My grandfather, Rex Lyndall, moved to Kelseyville in 1931 and became Lake County’s first Agriculture Commissioner, later going on to serve as the head Agriculture Commissioner for the entire state of California for over 30 years. I was also blessed to be the son of Deake and Patti Lyndall, proud owners of The Brick Tavern, a true Kelseyville staple since 1872.
To say I have roots here is an understatement.
I’m incredibly proud of my staff—some of whom have been with us the entire 17 years. Together, we’re reaching a meaningful milestone: we will surpass $300,000 in contributions to our schools and community. This is something we hold close to our hearts, and it’s made possible because of all of you.
When you dine at Lyndall’s, you are directly helping the kids, the schools, and the community we all love.
We appreciate each and every one of you.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
—The Staff at Lyndall’s Sports Stop Grill
