This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.

Purchase of a Tasting Pack or providing your own set of 6 x ISO glasses is required.

Level 1 is not a pre-requisite for registering for Level 2. This course is a great place to start for those wanting to learn more about the world of wine and who already have a little experience working in wine or as a wine consumer.

Location: ARC Liquor Store – 1973 Harvey Ave, Kelowna, BC. V1Y 6G5

Classes take place in a large private room in the back of ARC Liquor Store on Harvey Avenue in Kelowna. We call it the warehouse. Ample free parking in the front of the store.
