Hosted by our environmental non-profit and in partnership with Central Okanagan Land Trust, these events bring community members together to support the health and resilience of our landscapes.Volunteers will help with the maintenance of restoration sites, which may include activities like weeding invasive species, tending native plantings, installing protective features, and general site care. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to get your hands dirty and spend time outdoors.These events are a great way to:Contribute to meaningful, on-the-ground conservation workLearn about local ecosystems and stewardship practicesConnect with like-minded community membersAll tools and basic instruction will be provided. Please come dressed for the weather, wear sturdy footwear, and bring water.Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or brand new, we’d love to have you join us in making a positive impact.At this Stewardship Thursday, we will continue to daylight native plants that we have planted in past years- freeing them from reed canary grass and other invasive plants.We love pets, but please leave pets at home.
