Produced by retired forester Murray Wilson, edited by Ryan Tebbutt of Edge Digital Media, and with associate producer Rick Maddison, the film weaves expert interviews, government data, and striking footage from both B.C. and California. It features forest professionals, wildfire officials, and researchers who share real-world strategies already making a difference on the ground.

Independently funded, the film was made possible with generous support from Homestead Foods, Skyline Helicopters, Padoin Reforestation, and Kalesnikoff.

About Reel Okanagan: A film series showcasing powerful, locally made documentaries and indie features. We’re bringing back three films by popular demand and adding one new title to the lineup.
Celebrate the stories, voices, and landscapes that define the Okanagan. This August, the Rotary Centre for the Arts presents Reel Okanagan. Join us every Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Mary Irwin Theatre.
