Starting with everything you need to know about battings, needles, threads, marking methods, sandwiching, your walking foot, your darning/embroidery foot and continuous line patterns, you will create your own samples of “in the ditch”, cross hatching, and free motion quilting motifs. Then, you will drop your feed dogs and fly free! You will have plenty of time to free motion quilt numerous patterns, building your confidence and ability as you go.

Laurie will show many samples to illustrate a variety of quilting styles and techniques and you are welcome to brain storm with her over your UFOs.
