Laptop Donation & Data Wiping Event
Saturday, April 10 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
St. Michael and All Angels Cathedral, 608 Sutherland Ave Kelowna
Bring any working PC or Mac laptop (with power cord) bought on or after October 1, 2001.

Every donated laptop will have all previous data carefully wiped to ensure your privacy. Volunteers will then install the Linux operating system to refurbish the machine, extending its life and making it functional for modern use.

These computers will be distributed through vital community partners, including Turning Points Collaborative Society, St. Michael's Cathedral, and the Seniors Outreach Centre. As Tara Tschritter of Turning Points notes, "Access to a reliable computer can be the difference-maker for someone seeking housing or applying for work."

Stick around while we wipe your machine, enjoy a complimentary coffee with our volunteers, and get an introduction to Linux.
