This isn't just a local contest. It's the regional qualifier for a global competition.

Here's how it works: Every year, teams of local filmmakers sign up for the Okanagan 48 Hour Film Project. On a Friday night, they're handed a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue. Then they have exactly 48 hours to deliver a finished short film. No pre-writing, no pre-shooting. Just creative chaos, a lot of coffee, and whatever story they can pull off before Sunday night.
This is the night you get to see what they made, and find out which film is headed to the world stage.
