Introduction
Join us for Operation: Overlord, an epic D-Day-inspired megagame where history is rewritten on the tabletop—all in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity! This massive multiplayer battle will recreate the fierce fighting of the Normandy landings, pitting Allied forces against a determined Axis defense. But this isn’t just any game—the course of battle can be changed by your donations!
The Mission
On June 6th, 1944, Allied forces launched the largest amphibious invasion in history. Now, it's your turn to storm the beaches or hold the line. But war is unpredictable—every donation made to SSAFA can shift the tides of battle in real time!
How can you support the cause?
£5 – “Naval Bombardment!” – Re-roll one of your dice as the battleships provide fire support!
£10 – “Reinforcements Have Arrived!” – Deploy an extra infantry unit or remove D3 pin markers as fresh troops land.
£20 – “Airborne Support!” – Paratroopers drop behind enemy lines, forcing an immediate morale test on an Axis unit.
£50 – “Off-Map Disaster!” – A random event occurs—perhaps a landing craft is delayed, or an Axis bunker collapses under artillery fire!
Whether you’re playing, spectating, or just here to support our veterans, every pound raised goes directly to SSAFA, helping those who have served our country.
A Linked Battle Experience
We’re proud to partner with Aurora Tabletop Gaming Club, who will be running a separate, linked game representing another critical part of the D-Day operation. Their scenario will impact the main battle—decisions made in their game may affect reinforcements, supply lines, or even key objectives on our battlefield!
