Remembrance Sunday Service, followed by an act of remembrance at 11am

Our Remembrance Sunday Holy Communion Service begins at 10am, as we gather in reverence and gratitude to remember before God all who have given their lives in the cause of freedom and peace. In word, prayer, and sacrament, we reflect on the love that overcomes hatred, and the hope that endures even in the face of loss. Together we share in Holy Communion, giving thanks for Christ’s sacrifice and the promise of life renewed in him.

Following the service, at 11am, we will gather at the War Memorial for the Act of Remembrance. Here, we join with our wider community in solemn silence, laying wreaths and hearing the names of those who gave their lives from our parish and beyond. This shared act of remembrance unites us across generations, reminding us of the cost of war and the call to peace.

All are warmly invited to both services as we honour the past, give thanks for the present, and pray for a world where justice and peace may flourish for all people.
