Starting June 2nd: Mondays and Wednesdays 10:30-11:30AM


Activities based on the growing season and weather could include:
- Working in the greenhouse
- Planting and caring for seedlings
- Planning the location and installation of plants and  garden beds
- Planting and transplanting crops
- Growing perennials, herbs and food crops in small spaces (apartments, dorm rooms, etc)
- Harvesting fresh crops
- Sharing recipes
- Drying herbs and beans
- Interacting with and caring for the animals 
- Selecting and producing PECS master sheets, labels and signage
- Boxing/bagging/labeling plants and harvest


Individuals will participate in activities targeting:
- Independence and participation in a variety of life activities
- Promotion of  health and wellness
- Pre-vocational skills
- Opportunities for community participation and relationships
- Participation in the valued role of community volunteer
- The exercise of personal choice and control 

We strive to include people of all abilities, with:
- Accessible garden beds
- Universal design principles
- Plain language
- Basic sign language and gestures
- Visual communication and labeling system
- PECS system

PLEASE NOTE: Individuals will be responsible for providing their own transportation. If an individual requires 1:1 support they are responsible for providing that staff.  

$180 for a 6 week course (2 classes/ week)

All funds go towards our nonprofit organization! This event is in collaboration with Frog Belly Farm and the Craft School at Mill Hollow!

✨**FREE**  Community Days 
June 6th and 7th from 10-2pm ✨

With this "open house" of sorts, we will finish up the installations and bring awareness to what we are doing with the garden beds and in our classes. It will also be a potluck! All are welcome.
