A gorgeous night of folk music at Nova Arts!

About this Event

Camp Saint Helene formed seven years ago in Catskill, NY. Since then, Elizabeth Celeste Ibarra, Dylan Nowik, Wesley Harper and Alex Wernquest have found themselves growing together, insistent on building a world of their own.

In just the past year, they have collaborated with Angel Olsen, released their sophomore record, Of Earth and its Timely Delights (2024), as well as an EP accompanied by a short film, Call for Me (2025), founded their own record label & collective, Misery Mother, and toured extensively. Their single “Wonder Now” was featured on Cosmic Waves Volume 1. (2024), released by Olsen via somethingscosmic / Jagjaguwar. The compilation also included a cover of their song “Farfisa Song”, by Olsen.

Camp Saint Helene’s musical style ranges from gentle folk to groovy psychedelia. Thematically, their work reflects devotion and the desire to create, especially in the face of adversity.

Philadelphia-based indie folk artist Kristin Daelyn combines intricate fingerstyle guitar with poetic lyricism to create a world of nostalgia and introspection. Grounded in folk, her sound feels familiar but explorative, evoking quiet moments and a tender space for solace, presence, comfort and deep connection. The Philadelphia songwriter takes influence from solo guitarists like Leo Kottke and John Fahey as well as writers like Mary Oliver, whose poem “Patience” inspired the early single “Patience Comes to the Bones.” Through instrumental pieces that highlight her virtuosity as a player and elegant folk songs that showcase her gifts for tender pop melodies and emotionally incisive lyrics, Daelyn’s voice feels both urgent and timeless. Like a well-loved paperback passed between friends, her songs are open to reflection and personal annotation, designed to be of use.

In the tender, surrealist world that Knishkowy has developed under the name Adeline Hotel, stories have been told through sprawling psych-rock epics (2020’s Solid Love), stark solo guitar performances (2021’s Good Timing), piano-led orchestral song cycles (2021’s The Cherries Are Speaking), and lush, jazzy compositions that felt like a genre unto themselves (2023’s Hot Fruit). Inspired by indie lifers and fellow world-builders like Jim O’Rourke and Phil Elverum, the Ruination Records co-founder has rewritten the rule book with each new project, inviting listeners to join as he discovers new channels for his singular voice. By now the sound of Adeline Hotel is equally identifiable through Knishkowy’s dextrous fingerpicking—the aural equivalent of tracing your fingers through cool sand at sunrise—as his low, whispered vocals and autumnal melodies.

Doors are at 7pm and music will start at 730. This show is all ages and seating is limited and also first come first served.

Thanks to a grant from TD Charitable Foundation, this show has an Access For All option which lets you name your price (you can't buy multiples of this option at the same time, so to buy more than one ticket, it is necessary to do each additional ticket in a different transaction).
