On Pastoral Ministry & the Hispanic Community
The New Jersey Coalition of Latino Pastors and Ministers, under the leadership of Reverend Raul Ruiz, warmly invites pastors, ministry leaders, and community advocates to a special Theological Breakfast dedicated to biblical reflection, pastoral training, and meaningful dialogue on the role of ministry in the contemporary social landscape of New Jersey.
“The Pastor as an Agent of Change in the Hispanic Community: Facing the Challenges of Immigration and Current Diversity”
This gathering will explore pastoral leadership as an instrument of hope, compassion, and justice for immigrant families and Hispanic communities navigating today’s complex social realities. Together, we will reflect on the pastoral vocation as a ministry of spiritual accompaniment, Christian hospitality, defense of human dignity, and service in times of uncertainty.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Engage in theological reflection and discussion
• Strengthen pastoral leadership skills
• Connect with fellow clergy and ministry leaders
• Share strategies to support immigrant families and diverse communities
This breakfast is designed to foster fellowship, encouragement, and practical insight for those committed to serving and uplifting the Hispanic community.
Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026
