Join us for a science cafe by Dr. Bryanna Scheuler!
In addition to battling cancer, cancer patients often fight a series of deficits in attention, memory, and executive control. This impairment, known as cancer-related cognitive decline (CRCD), can have devastating ripple effects, including social and financial
strain, medication nonadherence, and lower survival rates. Treating CRCD has been complicated by difficulties in determining the biomechanisms driving cognitive decline. In this Science Café talk, Dr. Scheuler will discuss how shifting our approach to assessments can improve our understanding and treatment of CRCD.
