Apie programą ir atlikėjus 

“Rom Karson Quartet”  tai jauno muzikanto kvartetas, kurio muzika pasižymi subtilia harmonine kalba, dažnai paremta išplėstiniais džiazo akordais ir sklandžia balsų vedyba.  Programos ašis – originalios kompozicijos, kurias atlieka tarptautinė komanda: 

Romualdas Karžinauskas (saksofonas) – kvarteto lyderis, kompozitorius ir 2025 m. Nacionalinio P. Vyšniausko saksofono konkurso „Grand Prix“ laimėtojas. Jo kūryba jau skambėjo tokiuose festivaliuose kaip „Kaunas Jazz“, „Birštonas Jazz“ ir „Klaipėda Castle Jazz Festival“. 

Anton Cifirov (fortepijonas) – jautrus ir universalus pianistas, tarptautinių konkursų laureatas, savo skambesiu sujungiantis skirtingus stilius į vientisą muzikinį audinį. 

Giuseppe Lanzo (kontrabosas) – Italijos džiazo scenos atstovas, į ansamblį įnešantis itališką temperamentą, kūrybinę laisvę ir meistrišką improvizaciją. 

Giuseppe De Nisi (būgnai) – ritminio jautrumo ir energijos meistras, kurio grojime džiazo tradicijos susitinka su Lotynų Amerikos ritmais.

Four talented jazz virtuosos of the younger generation are coming to Kaunas for the first time with their program She’s Never Left My Mind! During the evening, you will hear modern jazz, original compositions, and a fusion of different cultures. The concert will be in two parts with an intermission.

About the Program and the Performers 

Rom Karson Quartet is the quartet of a young musician whose music is distinguished by a subtle harmonic language, often based on extended jazz chords and smooth voice leading. The core of the program consists of original compositions performed by an international ensemble: 

Romualdas Karžinauskas (saxophone) – the leader of the quartet, composer, and winner of the Grand Prix at the 2025 National P. Vyšniauskas Saxophone Competition. His music has already been featured at festivals such as Kaunas Jazz, Birštonas Jazz, and Klaipėda Castle Jazz Festival. 

Anton Cifirov (piano) – a sensitive and versatile pianist, laureate of international competitions, whose sound blends different styles into one seamless musical fabric. 

Giuseppe Lanzo (double bass) – a representative of the Italian jazz scene, bringing Italian temperament, creative freedom, and masterful improvisation to the ensemble. 

Giuseppe De Nisi (drums) – a master of rhythmic sensitivity and energy, whose playing unites jazz traditions with Latin American rhythms.
