Kondratie [kɔ‌dʁa.ti] is a solo darkwave project of Tel-Aviv nomad-artist Kosta Ostrowski, now based in Uzhhorod, Ukraine, inspired by Eastern European culture and Western expressionist tradition.
Kondratie is an array of spectral and eerie foreboding synthetic melodies, dangerous mechanical rhythms, and malevolent vocalizations to establish a cloudly surreal ambience, at the same time dramatic and enthralling, laced with poetic lyrics in Hebrew, Ukrainian and French delving into gloomy shades of inner perceptions.
