- **Event Description**: we’re hosting the second of many drift events @ Wisconsin International Raceway on September 18th. only $80 to drift!About this EventWe’re hosting the second of hopefully many drifting events at Wisconsin International Raceway (WIR) on September 18th!Drivers Pass are $80 & must be approved by emailing streetwinder1@gmail.comSpectators are $15 at the gate*NO TIRE MOUNTING AVAILABLE*2:00 PM – Gates Open / Roll-In3:00 PM – Tech Inspection Start3:30 PM – Driver Meeting4:00 PM – Hot Track6:30 PM - Dinner Break7:00 PM - Hot Track10:00 PM – Cold Track / End of DayDriver must have on the appropriate driver’s color/design wristband. Any person(s) without a driver’s wristband is not allowed to drift the course.DOT approved helmet is on and fastened.Helmets must at minimum cover face cheeks, no bucket hats allowedSeat belt fastened and seats must be securely and properly mounted.Appropriate tire pressure.No leaking or excessive fluids.No loose items inside the vehicle.No loose engine or suspension parts.Firm brake pedal. Working brake lamp is required.Night/rainy events will require working parking and head lights.The windshield may not have any major defects and be clear for the driver to see through.Battery must be secured and all positive terminals covered.A coolant overflow tank is required.Power steering fluid reservoir should have drip protection in the form of an armband, sock, or similar. All lug nuts must be installed and engage a minimum of 4 threads of the wheel studs.Front and rear tow options MUST be present on the vehicleIf you have a screw in tow hook it should be either already screwed in, or in the vehicle.All necessary tools to access tow hook or install tow hook should be in vehicle at all times.Convertible cars must have roll over protection.Fire extinguisher securely mounted inside the vehicle is required.Drivers are to maintain a 5mph speed limit in all pit and non-hot course areas.All body parts (arms, hands, feet, etc) MUST remain inside the vehicle at all times.Tandem:Advanced Drivers Only.All participants must agree to tandem.staff has the right to deny tandem with any drivers.Roll cage is recommended.Passenger limbs MUST stay inside the vehicle***Drivers must keep off the grass. If the situation is uncontrollable, DO NOT lock your brakes when driving into areas of grass.
