This course is for those who have completed a Wilderness First Aid course before and are looking to recertify their qualification OR who have completed a Remote First Aid Course and wish to upgrade to a Wilderness Qualification. 

It is not a beginner course.

The fee for this course is $495

This blended course has self-paced online learning (e-learning) and three days of practical training.
This lets us focus on practical training sessions and scenarios as much as possible.

Before attending the practical training, students will need to complete their e-learning, which can be done in one sitting or over several sessions. 

Depending on the student's learning ability, they should allow up to 3 hours for reading and e-learning.

Practical training and assessment takes 8 hours per day over 3 consecutive days in a classroom environment.

The course focuses on the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid care to a patient, the patient care required while waiting for help to arrive for an extended period of time (more than 2 hours from definitive care), and the skills and knowledge to coordinate appropriate emergency response, including communications to emergency services and evacuation considerations.
