This year in Nepal, Queer Youth Group in co-ordination with Initiative Gay Youth (IGY) is organizing an event in the premises of LOOM Nepal ( a feminist organization). We will have an hour of open mic stage. During this queer / MOGAI people can perform anything they'd like, related with the theme. It could be dance, singing, poetry, or anything. You need to submit the details of your performance in this Google Form (Please read the rules in the form, on what performances we accept) : https://forms.gle/p7Lx6ecSvSC6QFMD9

An hour of open mic will be followed by a rally towards Fibwa Khya (Maitighar Mandala).

The date of May 17th was specifically chosen to commemorate the World Health Organization’s decision in 1990 to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder. The Day represents a major global annual landmark to draw the attention of decision makers, the media, the public, corporations, opinion leaders, local authorities, etc. to the alarming situation faced by people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.
