Come for a gander at the art, the music and other entertainment, purchase some food from the Vietnamese Cafe.
This is an exhibition of poster art that delivers political and social critique in the form of advertisements. It combines the visual communication elements of graphic design with the cheekiness of pop art. Whilst it is disarmingly fun, it delivers a punch, distilling clarity amidst chaos in a climate of political upheaval. Proper Gander invites viewers to reengage with political discourse, and avoids the sort of polarising messaging that pervades current media discourse.
