- **Event Description**: Now in its 50th year, Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre is pleased to present the 2025 Katherine Prize and Katherine Prize for Young People. The longest running visual art award in the Northern Territory returns on Friday the 7th of November from 6:00pm.

The Katherine Prize is an annual celebration of the extraordinary diversity that exists in the Northern Territory arts landscape. This exhibition brings together artists of all ages, cultural backgrounds, languages and regions of the NT. The Prize is unique in it’s inclusivity – accepting entries of any medium, by artists at all stages of their creative practice. 

To celebrate it’s 50th year, join us on the evening of Friday the 7th November at 6pm for the official opening and announcement of the winners with over $10,000 in prize money awarded.
