What is Babysalmesang? 
Babysalmesang (baby hymn singing) is a much-loved musical activity for babies and new parents in Denmark, hosted by churches across the country. It’s a calm, joyful space where you and your baby can:

-Enjoy music, movement and rhythm together
-Share a playful and stimulating experience
-Learn hymns and children’s songs in a beautiful church setting
-Meet other local parents and babies

Babysalmesang in English is taught entirely in English and includes seasonal hymns and traditional children’s songs. No need to be a confident singer – your voice is your baby’s favourite!
We use gentle movements, simple actions and small instruments to share the joy of music together.

After each session, there’s time for tea, coffee and conversation.
No prior experience needed – suitable for babies up to 12 months old.

About the teacher:
Classes are led by Sarah Greenhow, a British singer and experienced church musician, teaching Babysalmesang in English since 2021.
