BROWN (Deejay seit 1967) feiert nun schon seit über 10 Jahren seine gefeierte monatliche „LAST PENNY PARTY“, in Erinnerung an den legendären Club Last Penny, der von 1974-1987 die Heimat von Kassels Soul- und Funk-Fans war, wie auch für die vielen US Soldaten, die damals noch in Kassel und der weiteren Umgebung stationiert waren…
Unser Publikum war entweder seinerzeit regelmäßiger Gast dort, oder – und das zeigt sich an jedem 2. Samstag im Monat – liebt einfach nur die Soul Music der späten 70s, der 80s und der frühen 90s.
MR. BROWN ist mit dieser und ähnlichen Mischungen ein fester Bestandteil der deutschen Soul Szene, tritt auf Soul- und Jazz Festivals, in kleinen Clubs und großen Discos auf, immer unter dem Motto: „Let’s have a funky Good Time!“
