Step into the enchanting world of surrealism and bring your imagination to life in this immersive, long-format workshop. Open to artists of all levels, this masterclass invites you to explore the depths of the subconscious, drawing inspiration from dreams, symbolism, and the unexpected.
Begin your journey with an introduction to the history of surrealism and its most influential artists before engaging in guided exercises designed to unlock creativity and refine your unique, dreamlike concepts. Through expert demonstrations, you'll discover innovative techniques such as layering with mixed media, creating texture with unconventional tools, and adding depth and detail to your work.
Experiment with a variety of mediums, including acrylics, ink, and collage, to craft a piece that is as imaginative as it is personal. With personalised instruction and a focus on visual storytelling, you'll gain the tools and confidence to transform your ideas into a one-of-a-kind surrealist masterpiece.
To make the most of this experience, participants are encouraged to arrive with a general idea of what they would like to paint. By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only have a completed artwork but also the inspiration and techniques to continue your surrealist journey.
