The South Texas BBQ Bash is an annual Champions Barbecue Alliance (CBA)–sanctioned 4-Meat BBQ cook-off that brings together competitive BBQ teams — especially company and industry teams — to compete in classic categories like brisket, pork, ribs, and chicken. It’s part competition, part festival, and entirely family-friendly.

• All-day live music, with headliners and performers that bring a festival vibe. 
🚗 Community Fun
• Car show showcasing classic cars, trucks, and bikes from around Texas.
• Kid-friendly activities including a petting zoo and fishing pond.
• Cornhole tournament and other games.
• Texas Parks and Wildlife exhibits.

• Sporting clay events like Black Gold Sporting Clays (often paired with the BBQ Bash weekend). 
🤝 Mission & Impact
The BBQ Bash was founded as a nonprofit in 2021 to give back to the South Texas communities that support the energy industry. It has grown into a major event that raises funds and brings people together — providing charitable contributions, free meals, and entertainment to communities in need.
