The UK has been a breeding point for melodic and emotional hardcore bands for a long time now and we're honoured to host one of it's newer outcomes on July 31st at P8² Karlsruhe. Hailing from Bristol, DOWNPOUR was formed in 2023 and features (ex-)members of bands like LOCK & KEY and WE STRUCK GOLD. Released in March 2025, their debut album 'Where There is Life, There is Hope' has been a breakthrough for the band but has not stopped them from recording and releasing new music as well. Talking about melodic hardcore, we just had to invite our Bavarian friends WAVES LIKE WALLS as this shows main support. From their stage presence to their message, the bands appearance at last years Grave-Fest just left a mark with us and we're more than happy to have them at P8² again. In reminiscence of the golden era of skate punk and melodycore, Cologne's UP NORTH will take us back to those glory, lighthearted days and open this night full of raw emotions, catchy melodies and heavy-hitting breakdowns.
