Das dreitägige Programm widmet sich Computermusik und Live Coding. Im Zentrum steht das Format des Algorave, bei dem Künstler:innen live auf der Bühne Klänge, Visuals und Poesie programmieren. Dabei können selbst Fehlermeldungen auf der Leinwand Teil des künstlerischen Erlebnisses werden.

Unter dem Label Algorave laufen seit mehreren Jahren weltweit Parties und Events, bei denen algorithmisch erzeugte Musik im Vordergrund steht. Hierbei geht es jedoch nicht unbedingt um Algorithmen, die scheinbar selbständig Musik erzeugen, sondern um Künstler*innen, die durch das Entwickeln von Software zu neuen Zugängen zur elektronischen Musik gelangen. Der Algorave ist dem Spannungsfeld zwischen Musik und deren Visualisierung gewidmet.
