Be prepared to get a little messy! Bush Kindy is for children aged 3 - 5 years, alongside their parents and carers. Be immersed in the natural surroundings of the reserve as children build nature confidence and respect for the environment through unstructured, open-ended play with natural materials. Bush Kindy sessions can go for roughly 45 minutes and will go ahead in light rain.This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity, please email us at KFDC@brisbane.qld.gov.au.COST: Free.AGE: Suitable for ages 3 - 5 years.BOOKINGS: Required via Eventbrite. Maximum 5 tickets.IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTERA ratio of 1 adult per 4 children is required.All adults and children (including infants) must have a ticket.As this event is popular and places limited, late arrival tickets will be forfeited to make way for available attendees.Please cancel online via Eventbrite if you cannot attend.REQUIREMENTS ON THE DAY:Arrive minimum 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre.All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult.Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes (no thongs or open shoes please), sunscreen, and bring insect repellent.Suitable old clothes recommended for messy play.Water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.Note: All outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
