We will discover unique species, and enjoy getting outside across a wide range of forest sites. Specimens of interest will be accessioned into national collections. Please note this event is not a workshop - while foraying locations will be suggested, space provided to work on your collections, and you will find plenty of keen people to foray with, attendees must be prepared to be independent.For the 2026 foray, the hall, meals and venue for the colloquium day are all being provided by The Last Resort: Home - Last Resort Karamea. They also have a variety of accommodation that you can book with them directly. If your preferred room type is not available, there are a range of other accommodation options nearby in Karamea. All meal plans include dinner on Sunday night at 6:30pm, so plan your travel to be at the Last Resort at that time if possible, if you have purchased a ticket with a meal plan. All attendees need to meet in the hall at the Last Resort at 8:00am on Monday 20th April.The colloquium day (a series of talks on various mycology topics) will be on Wednesday 22nd April. If you want to attend Monday, Tuesday and the colloquium day - you will need to buy a colloquium day ticket in addition to Monday and Tuesday. You can also buy a ticket for only the colloquium day. All full-foray tickets include the colloquium day (and everyone gets lunch that day!).If the ticket-type you want sells out - don't panic!
