Wreath & Flame - A Winter Crafting Workshop to Celebrate the Season

Create evergreen wreaths and mullein torches in a winter ritual workshop celebrating the dark season, renewal, and the returning light. At this Festive Workshop - we will sip spiced tea & wine while creating fresh evergreen wreaths and magically charged mullein torches.

Evergreen & Ember is a winter ritual workshop honoring the dark season through earth-based crafting, creativity, and shared ceremony. As we move into the deeper months of winter, we turn toward the practices that have anchored communities for generations — adorning our homes with evergreens and carrying flame into the dark to remind us of the light to come.

In this gathering, we will begin in gentle ceremony, opening our senses to the quiet magic of the season. Together we’ll explore the symbolic and ancestral meaning of evergreens — endurance, renewal, hope — and the role of flame as a guide, a blessing, and a reminder that illumination always returns.

You will craft your own fresh evergreen wreath, using fragrant cedar, pine, juniper, and other winter greens. These wreaths are meant to be hung in your home or sacred space as a living altar piece, a symbol of life held within the dark.

We will also create mullein torches — an old folk tradition where dried mullein stalks are dipped in wax and rolled in natural materials to form slow-burning ceremonial torches. These torches will be blessed in circle and can be used later for personal ritual, illumination, or seasonal release.

We close our time together with a communal blessing, calling in protection, clarity, and the returning light of the season.

Light snacks, spiced tea, and seasonal tinctures will be served.

This ceremony is open to all experience levels — no crafting background required. Everything is guided, supported, and held with warmth.

Please note: Seating is limited. Bring garden gloves and sheers if you have some, a journal or book of shadows, a writing utensil, and anything you want to charge on the alter.
