West African Drumming Adults and Teens
Be immersed in the wonderful world of West African Drumming. Join us and learn the concept and approach on playing the jembe (hand drum) the dun-dun (stick drum) ... These are the traditional drums from the regions of Mali, Senegal, Gambia and Guinea West Africa ... with rhythms and folklore dating back to 1200 AD. You will enjoy it! Our instructor is Bird Ellington Fleming, director of the Traditional Music Society. Anyone who signs up for the whole eight-week session will automatically receive a free official TMS T – Shirt!
