I (Melissa) was called to this beautiful piece of land on the The Nelson-Atkins Museum lawn in 2020 when there were no studios open for me to share breathwork in. The land and I have formed a beautiful symbiotic relationship and it taught me everything I needed to know to hold space and facilitate large group healing experiences.

Over 2000 people have breathed on this land, with me as their guide. Whew! That's a lotta breath, healing, expansion, love and connection.

Join us on select Tuesday evenings this summer for Sunset Breathwork, a powerful outdoor experience led by professional breathwork facilitator Melissa Saubers. Together, we’ll gather in community under the open sky to reconnect, release, and realign to our inner guidance system.

🌞 Season runs June 2nd – September 8th | Select Tuesdays at 7PM (check SunsetBreathwork.com for the exact schedule as dates are announced)
 📍Lawn of The Nelson-Atkins Museum (SE corner, under the silver sculpture/tree near 47th & Rockhill Rd)

✨ What to Expect:
~ A heart-opening, spirit-expanding breathwork journey
~ A deeper connection to your internal guidance system
~ Gathering with a conscious and growing community in Kansas City
~ Grounding into the beauty and wonder of nature all around us

😎 What to Bring for Comfort:
 ~ Yoga mat or blanket to lie on
 ~ Additional blanket to cover up (you may get warm or cool)
 ~ Comfy, layered clothing
 ~ Water bottle
 ~ Journal & pen (to set intentions or for reflections post-journey)
 ~ Optional: eye mask for deeper immersion

⚠️ Note About Medical and Psychiatric Contraindications for a Breathwork Journey:
While breathwork is a potent and safe modality, certain physical and mental health conditions may be contraindicated. If you have cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, epilepsy, history of seizures or stroke, aneurysms, severe mental health conditions (including schizophrenia), or are pregnant — if you have any questions about these please reach out to Melissa directly to discuss. She can give you a safe, alternative breath pattern.

Melissa Saubers is a breathwork facilitator and transformational coach who has been leading community breathwork experiences in Kansas City since 2020.
