- **Event Description**: Start your growing season with planning: setting your financial goals, picking the crops you want to grow and those that are profitable. In this session, you'll get hands-on and learn to use online tools and desk top spreadsheets to make your growing year profitable!

Format: 
In-person demonstrations of computer applications and concepts, then hands-on experience using your own laptop and farm data!

Come prepared:
--> Bring a charged laptop, your farm map, production plan, and sales goals.

This event is free, but registration is requested and limited to 20 people.

About the KC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. Coalition
KC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. (aka Kansas City Farmers and Ranchers for Mentoring, Education, and Resource Sharing) Coalition is a project led by KC Farm School at Gibbs Road and Kansas City Black Urban Growers Inc. (KC BUGs). It was developed with seasoned growers and ranchers to provide support, community, and hands-on education for aspiring and new growers and ranchers across the Kansas City region and to transition/preserve farmland for the coming generations.
