Fisher Park, maintain their orchards, and eradicate honeysuckle.Following our time with the Green Team, we'll head over to Goat & Rabbit where you can enjoy a coffee, a mocktail, maybe even a cocktail?About Rosedale Development Association: RDA strives to work with residents, businesses and institutions to develop a thriving Rosedale community. RDA is involved in nearly every aspect of community building – policy influencing and advocacy, land use planning, housing construction, crime reduction, public space improvement, youth programming, supporting neighborhood associations and providing assistance to residents and businesses for a host of issues and concerns. RDA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit community development corporation that serves the Rosedale neighborhood of Kansas City, KS and Wyandotte County.About Goat & Rabbit: The nicknames of the  “Goats & Rabbits” originated in Kansas City in the days of the Rabbit boss Joe Shannon and Goat boss Tom Pendergast. In the early 20th century, many of the Irish and various immigrant following of Tom’s brother, James Pendergast, lived on “the Hill” or the West Bluffs of KC. One account is that someone in Shannon’s camp called the Pendergast people “Goats”, who then reciprocated by calling Shannon’s friends “Rabbits” because they lived along the Missouri and Kansas Rivers.
