- **Event Description**: We are excited to invite you to a day of singing (Singing September!) and vocal play at Greenwood Social Hall (pictured here, and located at 1750 Belleview Ave, 2nd floor, KCMO) on Sunday, September 20th from 11am to 3:45pm.

Singing September will start with our usual song circle, have a break for lunch, and then we will resume in the afternoon with somatic vocal expression and play to get us into our bodies, vocal improvisation and circle singing (which is different from a singing circle!), group harmonization (aka choral-style singing), and an introduction to polyphonic overtone singing.

Schedule for Singing September on the 20th:

11am Song Circle 

12pm Lunch Break (Please plan to BYO Lunch... light munchies will be provided by us)

12:45pm Somatic Vocal Play

1:30pm Circle Singing and Vocal Jam

2:15pm Overtone Singing Workshop

3:15pm Intro to Choral Singing 

 All singing levels are welcome! 

If you wish to join us only for our usual song circle at 11am, please do! 

As always, our song circle (from 11 am to 12pm) is free/donation-based. 
If you wish to participate in the whole day of Singing September, we ask that you register in advance so that we can plan accordingly. 

Love offering: $40 
Please pay what you can. No one is turned away for lack of funds!

**Your Venmo payment to @ChristineMusic (last digits: 9684) will serve as your registration.  **Please comment "Singing September" with your name, when sending your payment. 

Please register for this event by September 15th. (Late registrations and walk-ins can and will be accommodated. ) 

(Please note: Greenwood Social Hall is located on the second floor of a historic building and unfortunately does not have an ADA-accessible entrance.)
