Join the Kansas City Symphony on an imaginative voyage through faraway lands in this concert. Italian composer Ottorino Respighi transports us to Rome with his fan-favorite piece, Pines of Rome, which ends with an earth-shattering finale as the triumphant Roman army marches along the Appian Way. Plus, our concertmaster Jun Iwasaki takes a solo turn in Max Bruch’s expressive Second Violin Concerto.
