Heavy Petty is a Lawrence, KS based tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Dubbed 'the local band that most reliably slays', this 7-piece group faithfully recreates the music of one of the greatest singer/songwriters (and rock n' roll bands) of all time. With an extensive catalog, HP plays the hits as well as the deeper cuts, bringing energy, experience and fun to every performance. HP is at home on stage, making music together for over a decade, in this and various other projects. Featuring powerhouse singing from four different vocalists, three lead guitarists, and an ace rhythm section, the band has a presence and camaraderie that is a joy to watch.
