MOCSA’s Annual Community Luncheon is the largest fundraiser of the year. In addition to raising funds for services and programs, the goal is to increase awareness about the organization’s impact in the Kansas City metro and to educate the community on important issues related to sexual violence. The event draws influential members of the community who have a vested interest in changing the culture and the conversation around sexual violence. Nearly 1,000 attendees participate in this event at the Downtown Marriott Muehlebach Hotel.

This year’s luncheon will feature keynote speaker Eva Orner, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker behind the HBO documentary Surviving Ohio State. Eva’s work powerfully elevates survivors’ voices and underscores the importance of community accountability.
