Children and adults will enjoy this experience and pratice creative writing together.This workshop is rooted in affirmation, connection, and creativity. Each family will co-write a signature “Family Values Poem” that celebrates their unique bond and shared intentions. Her work explores the sacred interiority of Black womanhood through poetry, performance, and visual art, creating immersive spaces rooted in vulnerability, healing, and spiritual memory. Her practice examines embodiment and the intersections of labor and identity, questioning how our lives are valued within social systems.Her work has been performed and presented at the McColl Center, Harvey B. Gantt Museum, Charlotte Art League, and Goodyear Arts, among others.
