A Short Winter Hike: Family friendly adventure!
About this EventDiscover the magic of winter on this easy, beginner-friendly guided hike to the stunning Troll Falls!
This journey (approximately 5 km round trip) features minimal elevation gain, making it a perfect, accessible adventure for all skill levels. We'll hike to the main Troll Falls to witness the breathtaking sight of the frozen waterfall. Depending on our pace and the group's desire, we'll also trek to Marmot falls (total distance 4–6 km).
On our return, we'll follow a fun loop along the scenic river. Your guide will share the rich history of the area as we go, moving at a slow, steady pace so you have plenty of time for photos and connecting with the landscape.
Prepare for Adventure: Expect cold and snow—please dress warmly in layers and wear appropriate footwear. I will supply traction aids or snow shoes if conditions require them.
Hiking time is variable depending on the group. There is always plenty of time for lunch, photos and discussion. The end time in Eventbrite is just an estimate.
