- **Event Description**: One day I was in the middle of the ocean in Jamaica, I was a lil scared to take my life vest off to swim beneath the water to touch a coral reef that was said to be good luck and special by the locals. My friend told me, “we may never get here again, this is a chance to do something you will remember the rest of your life.” I remember that very moment. I touched the reef and felt good that I added that to just, a memory and growth in my life.
I say that to say, you see a trip like this and think, well, maybe I’ll go next year, maybe I’ll skip it. I dont have enough (stop lying). My cousin won’t make it with me (the best vacations are solo ones). Just excuses. 

How much are experiences you don’t forget worth to you? How much is travel and seeing new things worth to you? Travel outdoors. With great company. Led by, people of color (it just never fails to see people of color hesitant to go on a black led trip but, jump at a chance for the white person to organize one, shame on your deep seated mistrust). 

I wanted to go to the Dolomites but it will wait one final year. But this trip, will do until it comes time to go. 

This trip starts from Las Vegas Airport leaving there together no later than 1pm (depending on who shows early, we may leave a lil earlier) and heads to Kanab where we stay in this 3 story legit house with an outdoor hot tub, two big kitchens, a big back yard and a ton of privacy. So please be landed by 1:00pm. Not ANY LATER. 

Friday morning we leave at 6:15am and go to The Narrows. Plan for it to be all-day. We will be on the trails from 8am till 4pm. We will hike past Wall Street and just, go as far as we can until it’s time to turn back. 
Saturday morning we leave at 5:45am to drive to Bryce Canyon for sunrise and the Navajo Loop with extras that will make the hike 6 miles. Expect to be there till 2pm. We drive back, get hella food, cook, hang out, hot tub it and sleep. 
Sunday, we will leave it open to see who is feeling another trail early. 
Check out at noon and head back, expecting to be back in Vegas by 3pm. 

I’ll be staying in Vegas Sunday once we get back and hanging at the pool and leaving Monday. 

We have stayed at the same house the past 3 years. 9 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms. Plenty of room for everyone. 

I always like a mix of vets, a few newbies and a couple people from out of town. In the past we have gotten two houses. This year, for the moment, we just want to do one. 
If you want to book your own accommodations, that’s great, but let us know, rent your own car and each person who does pays $60 upfront. 

Costs for everyone. It’s 9 bedrooms. Everyone gets their own room. If you have stayed with us before, you get first choice. One bedroom is smaller, it’s more a sleeper sofa room, that’s $250 total. The other bedrooms are $310 total. The only other cost is a 510 shirt that is $40 (our red and black favorite shirt—if you already have one, you are good). 

To reserve a spot, everyone pays $40 for a 510 Hikers shirt and $50 deposit, non refundable (but you keep the shirt). So check flights first before you message me. Make sure you are good first. Please. 

From there, it’s $130 due on June 1st. $130 due August 1st. I see these same trips out there for 2/3K…..We have the house hook up and the experts to make the trip smooth.

We have 10 people and will rent two cars from the airport. That cost expect it to be $75 each about. We may have a couple smaller costs associated but nothing big. We Costco trip it and get essentials before we arrive at the house on Thursday. 

Please no outside visitors after 10pm at the house because sone folks may want to sleep.
