Job description
MAIN OBJECTIVE , to provide child care programs in fields of, access to education i.e. provision of school fees ,scholastic materials ( tuitions, books, pens & pencils, uniforms, shoes e.t.c) medical care, talent development & technical knowledge training. Seeking child sponsorship
Expected results
OUR MISSION. To have an empowered community were orphans and vulnerable children have rights to education like other children for better future.
Our project is conducted under a well organized work plan basically on researched information with all parties involved i.e. Vulnerable children, teachers or school leader, guardian, and community leaders with this critical information we come up with methodologically strategic work plan, all volunteer can check this face book page to have an idea www.facebook.com/www.vfsdophanage.org
During this period, volunteers help with taking care for the children, showing love, giving hope, cultural exchange in various places or VFSD grounds, teach at orphan schools, help with building projects, organize out-of-school kids programs, hold community outreach medical clinics, and conduct counseling sessions for HIV/AIDS women and children, organize youth sports and drama programs and community outreaches.

Why Volunteer?
We always need more volunteers to help in our orphanages and youth community projects in Uganda. Not only is it a great chance to give something back, but it is an opportunity to learn more about the country and see how people live in Uganda, cultural exchange. The challenges poor youth and orphaned children go through, and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of these youth and children . Roles are so inevitable therefore measures have to be taken in order to solve them for the smoothing running of project to meet its goals in the line of its objectives
1) Nation and international volunteers to have dialogical set of mind Involvement in a cohesive work plan that reflects realistic and sustainable objectives.
2) Profession personals or volunteers to Prepare a persuasive grant proposal for child sponsorship
3) Profession personals or volunteers to create a persuasive room for child sponsorship by designing donation apps and links
4) Profession personals or volunteer build up international relationship in the fields of attracting international volunteers or interns to support the orphanage project
5) Personals or volunteers in the fields of communication nation wide and international most likely on social media or internet network.

Background
Vision for sustainable development (VFSD) offers volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, groups, and teams from schools, organizations, churches, and companies, to come to Uganda to volunteer in orphanages, children homes and youth development projects in Uganda. Volunteer placements can be short-term (2 weeks - 3 months) or long-term (5-12 months), but can even be longer, depending on the volunteer’s time frame, and are organized throughout the year. Placements are in orphanages and youth development projects in Kampala city, Uganda. Projects include working in Orphanages and children’s homes, schools, and community projects.
