Known for his vibrant, abstract landscape paintings inspired by the Thompson-Nicola region, Smith spent much of his life painting in and around Kamloops, capturing the landscapes he knew through bold colour, shape and lyrical abstraction.🎨

Following the film, join director Christo Vutev and producer Annette Dominik, for a conversation about Smith's life, work and enduring contribution to the visual arts in our community.🎤

A selection of Ted Smith’s original works will also be on display in the Paramount Theatre lobby, offering audiences an opportunity to view and purchase his paintings throughout this delightful Culture Days event.⭐

Proceeds from artwork sales go to The Ted Smith Endowment Fund, with proceeds from the Fund supporting the Kamloops Art Gallery.🖼️
