Whether you’re brand new to clay or a seasoned creator, this hands-on workshop promises a fun, creative experience — plus a beautiful mug to take home and enjoy for years to come!

? Workshop Highlights:


? Session One – Handcrafted Slab Mug: During the initial workshop, you’ll receive 750 grams of premium pottery clay to design and sculpt your slab-built mug using our newest square-bottom / round-top template.

?️ Tools & Materials Included: Access professional sculpting tools, materials, and our exclusive slab mug template to help shape and refine your piece during the first session.

? Expert Instruction: Learn step-by-step slab-building techniques from local pottery artist Liz Thiessen in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.

⏳ Drying & First Kiln Firing: After the workshop, your mug will remain in our care for several weeks while it fully dries and completes its first kiln (bisque) firing.


✨ Session Two – Complimentary Glazing: Once your mug has completed its first firing, enjoy a FREE second glazing session, bookable during our public drop-in hours. During this session, you’ll glaze your mug, add final details, and prep it for its final firing.

? Final Kiln Firing: Your mug will then be professionally fired to ensure a durable, food-safe, and polished finish.
